My specialty is helping women in stages of life where their body feels more "challenging" - prenatal, postpartum, back pain & restorative fitness, post eating disorder recovery, post-menopause, longevity, aging and beyond. This has been my journey - learning to love & take care of my body in all stages of life: with 2 rods in my back after scoliosis surgery, after 2 c-sections, and now with 2 young children, a changing body, a busy schedule & a back that still requires lots of TLC.
It is my deepest passion to show women how to cultivate a loving, simple and lasting relationship with health & fitness. So it never feels like a chore or a frustrating, unattainable puzzle. And instead, fitness & your body can truly become your sanctuary - to cultivate more calm, joy, energy & confidence in each & every day.

Exercise alone doesn't mean you'll have a fit, strong & healthy body. After 15 years of working with hundreds of women, the additional coaching you receive is what truly creates your results. So we can work through the day-to-day obstacles that make healthy habits feel hard - and instead, finally make it simple, enjoyable and sustainable.
Our sessions are 60 minute personal training sessions + health coaching woven throughout. This ensures you're making change in the ways that matter most - the rest of the 23 hours in your day.
Sessions start at $75 (min. 1x/week), plus add-on options for completely customized weekly exercise, food plans + coaching support.
Available in Carlsbad, CA (in-home) and/or virtual. I've worked with clients all over the world (in-person & virtual combo works well for busy professionals).

What do I mean? Did we lose all of the weight we wanted to lose - yes, and we lost a LOT. Did we get stronger and leaner than we ever had been before - yes, and we ended up being fitter than we ever thought possible.
But even more than that, Melanie taught us how to live lives that naturally embrace fitness and health. We learned a lot about how our bodies get stronger and healthier. We will never be the same and for that we will always be tremendously grateful for the gift of her guidance.
